Jim has an extensive background in consulting, marketing, sales, change management, educational development, Total Quality Management, and management training. He has held a number of senior line and staff management positions at IBM. Jim has served as an Associate Partner of FarSight Group and Leadership 2000 since 1993.

Within IBM's sales and marketing organizations, Jim held lead sales and management positions within the Financial Services and Manufacturing industries. His last sales executive job was as the Business Unit Executive serving the American Express account. Internationally, Jim held a management position responsible for IBM Enterprise Marketing and Support for the Asia Pacific Rim countries, operating out of Tokyo, Japan.

Jim later served as the Quality Executive for IBM Arizona. He was responsible for helping client companies improve their financial performance through the application of total quality management principles and practices. He also served as a Malcolm Baldrige Quality Award Senior Examiner on the Governor's Quality Board in Arizona.

Jim holds a BS degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Rochester Institute of Technology in New York and an MBA from the University of Pittsburgh in Pennsylvania. He has also completed Leadership Management Development training programs from IBM, UCLA, MIT and Harvard. He received Professional Consultant certifications from Booze, Allen & Hamilton and Leadership 2000; Customer Service certified training from Integrity Systems; and Conflict Resolution training from IBM and Win-Win Creations.
