Frank D. Joseph

Frank D. Joseph is a speaker, facilitator, trainer, and consultant in leadership, team, and organizational development. He started his own business, The Joseph Group: Consulting Partners, in 1995 and founded CenterPoint in 2000. CenterPoint combines technology and research in the areas of creative strategic thinking, matrix teams, change management, and executive development.

He has pioneered applications of team technology and competency modeling to matrix teams and "reengineered" organizations. CenterPoint has also developed a highly successful leadership experience called "Transitions" targeted to the needs of professionals, managers, and executives who are experiencing dramatic role changes in rapidly changing organizations.

Frank Joseph served as a senior executive with Drake Beam Morin, the world's leading career management organization and with Lead Associates, a regional training and development firm. He received two excellence awards from DBM for his efforts in building a start up office into one of the most profitable territories in the world.

Before his work in the corporate environment, Mr. Joseph served in leadership roles at The Pennsylvania State University, the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, and Winthrop University. Mr. Joseph sailed on an academic program affiliated with the S.SUniverse, where he was the Dean of Students on an academic program affiliated with the University of Pittsburgh. He and his staff directed the activities of over 500 passengers including American students, Chinese crew, and an Irish Captain!

He has served as President of the award winning Charlotte area Chapter of the American Society for Training and Development and Vice President and instructor of Leadership Charlotte. He has both a bachelors and masters degree from Penn State University. He recently completed the Alaska and Honolulu Marathons for the Leukemia Society Team in Training and competes in triathlons. He is a dedicated athlete, boater, and traveler and lives on Lake Norman near Charlotte, North Carolina.
