Robert Keim
Dr. Keim has been on the W.P. Carey faculty for many years. He has taught in the undergraduate, MBA, Executive MBA, MSIM and doctoral programs. He is currently teaching database management to juniors and seniors in the Computer Information Systems and Accountancy programs. He has conducted a number of applied research project applying decision analytics and information technology to a variety of functional areas and all levels of management in public, private and not-for-profit organizations.
His most recent project concerns the development and management of a testing environment for end-of-program learners in high school Career and Technical Education programs. This project includes the development of a tool that includes a database that tracks the hierarchy of Standards/ Measurement Criteria/Test Items for over 50 different professional tests. The environment includes the use of statistical evaluation of test results and the tracking of item development over time. The current phase of the project includes the use of social networking tools and video conferencing to support the network of stakeholders and a delivery system to provide online access to testing.
