Ray Biegun
Ray Biegun specializes in assisting individuals and organizations with innovation and high performance. He is a certified executive coach and brings experience in organizational change and development, future planning, innovation, leadership development, diversity, and developing collaborative workplaces. Ray also has a background in information technology, bringing a unique blend of experience that has helped him achieve outstanding results in moving a wide range of organizations, both in the public and private sector, toward innovation and high performance.
At GSA, a federal agency, Ray helped lead the PBS Real Estate Property Management organization through a major growth transition into highly empowered, customer centered, and collaborative teams. One of those teams later went on to obtain the first ISO-9000 certification for a Real Estate Property Management organization.
Other organizations Ray has worked with include the Department of Justice, Department of Energy, NASA, Department of Defense, Department of Education, SAIC, Leadership 2000, Idea Sciences, Johnson Wax, Atlantic Rim Group, city of Grand Rapids, International Monetary Fund, British Ministry of Defense, and the State University of New York at Stony Brook. Ray also served as an officer in the U.S. Air Force.
Ray is certified in the Creative Strategic Thinking methodology and in the use of the CoNexus technology developed by Dr. George Land, founder of Leadership 2000. Ray has worked with Dr. Land since 1995. He has successfully used these techniques and technologies for innovation, customer focus, strategic planning, team building and charter development, and breakthrough organization change and development.
Ray is an executive coach certified by the Newfield Network and George Mason University (GMU). He also holds an M.S. in Organizational Development and Learning, Knowledge Transfer, and Collaborative Technologies from GMU, and a B.S. in Biology and Education from the State University of New York at Stony Brook. Ray has studied under the NTL Institute for Applied Behavioral Science, the National MultiCultural Institute, the Rancho Strozzi Institute, and is trained in Interactive Management, a tool for managing complexity in organizations, developed by Dr. John Warfield.
Ray is a member of the American Society for Training and Development (ASTD), the International Coach Federation (ICF), and the International Society for Performance Improvement (ISPI).
