Advanced Innovation Methodology
Advanced Innovation Methodology (AIM) is a breakthrough in creating high-impact innovations on demand. This is a four week session offered over a four month timeframe. It is appropriate for organizations who want to make innovation a part of their culture. AIM develops your own internal Innovation Process Leaders so that innovation can be executed quickly and successfully throughout the organization. This process moves organizations up the innovation maturity curve. It provides a unique, reproducible, and disciplined process and tool set that allow interdisciplinary teams to identify strategic opportunities and focus on developing the specific innovations required for maximum competitive advantage.
AIM employs a combination of computer-assisted decision support with powerful innovation tools. Developed over three decades through FarSight Group's basic research on the creative process and applying Dr. George Land's Transformation Theory, the process finds linkages among widely separated disciplines to bring new concepts into being. The process tears down the usual barriers so your team sees problems in an entirely new light and creates unexpected synergies. AIM has been employed in many different environments including petrochemicals, electronics technologies, consumer products, business equipment, and a wide variety of government projects.
